Kit Kat released many limited edition flavors a few years ago. A lover of all flavors, I haven't personally tasted them but I did have Kit Kat Caramel in Brisbane, Australia, (with Sinosplice John & 2Flippant Ben, along with real Austrian Red Bull in the glass bottle), Kit Kat Inside Out in Concord, California, and Kit Kat Orange in Berkeley, California. The rarer limited flavors are coming out of Canada predominantly, Germany for the Kit Kat Blood Orange and Japan for the Kit Kat Green Tea variety. If you've had these, please let me know where you found them and what you thought of them.

Further, this was written by an American, using American technology, and you're probably reading this on your computer that uses Taiwanese chips with a Korean monitor, assembled by Bangladeshi workers in a Singapore plant, transported by Indian lorry-drivers, hijacked by Indonesians, unloaded by Sicilian longshoremen, and trucked to you by Mexican illegals. That, my friends, is Globalization.

I wanted to get these thoughts down before they lost their shape and form, as they surely will when they become muddled with everything else that’s brewing inside my head.

I realize that I’ve become incredibly short-tempered lately. This comes from dissatisfaction with every aspect of life. From my current vantage point, nothing looks good. None of the options are enticing enough. Nothing I come across is inspiring. I see many possibilities, but I can’t see past the stumbling blocks just a few feet ahead. I feel restricted – confined. I’m optimistic when I say that I can envision of the flicker of a flame – the tiny flicker of a light at the end of the tunnel.

This is what’s going on. I see myself. And I see similarities between myself now and you a year ago. Dissatisfaction. Unhappiness. Anger.

These elements are all there.

* Total lunar eclipses can only occur during a full moon: when the moon is directly opposite the sun with the Earth between them. When the sun, the planet and the satellite align - putting the moon in the planet's shadow - Earth residents are treated to a celestial show that, unlike a solar eclipse, is visible to the naked eye. The lunar eclipse began before the Red Sox won the World Series and lasted two and a half hours. The next one will occur on August 28th, 2007 at 3am.
